brief description

Body covered with very large scales; dorsal and anal fins almost fused with the caudal fin; and 2 barbs at the ends of the jaw. Adults are silvery, youth with greenish blue and a yellow bar-orange.

biology

These fish are omnivores with a tendency to feed on fish in the area. The top position of the mouth to capture its prey while swimming from below. You jump out of the water to feed on
